OCENS XWeb for Globalstar

OCENS XWeb for Globalstar uses a customized Firefox or Internet Explorer web browser with proxy configurations in order to maximize use of your Globalstar phone for faster data transmission.

Please note that this program is not designed for use with Windows 95, 98 or Windows ME.  This program requires Windows XP, Windows 2000 or later operating systems.

You need to register for XWeb service either at http://www.ocens.net/globalstar/installer.htm or by contacting admin@ocens.net You must install the OCENS XWireless Suite for Globalstar to install XWeb. You can get this from your CD or download it from http://www.ocens.net/globalstar/eu

You will be required to input your username and password to log into XWeb. Please remember that your username and password is case sensitive and must be all lowercase. Once you input the username and password once; you can check the box that notates to save the username and password and you will not be required to input the username and password again to load XWeb. Should you lose satellite service during your web browsing, XWeb will automatically reconnect rather than asking for a manual reconnection. Once you’re done browsing, close the XWeb window to terminate the Globalstar call.

Switching from XWeb for Firefox to XWeb for Internet Explorer

To switch your default XWeb browser from Firefox to Internet explorer:

From now on; when you click on the XWeb icon on the desktop, it will launch the Internet Explorer browser with the proxy configurations predetermined for you.

To speed up web page loading, add the pages you most visit by going to the webpage and clicking on Bookmarks>Bookmark this Page
